Elimination of Wild Dogs in Sanur Beach
On Monday (23/2) the municipal government of Denpasar, Bali, has once again conducted wild dog elimination or euthanasia to slow down the spread of rabies. In the program, 29 dogs from the beach line and market in Sanur were euthanized. Sanur is a famous tourist sites in Bali. Head of the Livestock, Fishery, and Marine Service Office of Denpasar, Dewa Made Ngurah, said that elimination of wild dogs in Sanur is one of the focuses in the rabies mitigation program.
“We want to make sure that rabies does not spread further in Denpasar and alarm tourists in Bali,” he said. (BEN)
